Poor girl can't seem to get away from it X3 Here's hoping there's a moment in the new series.

A lot of people in the community can spot Sasami almost immediately! But yeeeah, Negi isn't as recognizable a character in media nowadays. The Negima! series from which he hails hasn't really been popular since the mid 2000's. There were some notable instances of tickling happening to multiple girls in the series throughout, but Negi himself stuck with a few people, it seems, and our commissioner was one of them! It was also his idea to see these two in what he described as a "Great Boldini-esque situation". With that said, you can infer yourself just what might be going down Thanks so much for commenting!

Yep, that's my pencil tool at work! Gives it a much more traditional feel, but still keeps things relatively clean. I've become quite the fan of it! And there are so many other possible adjustments I can make to these tools to make them look even nicer... I'm eager to give a few more a shot~ As for the coloring, it's very soft and kinda "blobby" in places. I'm sure if I had to I could polish a piece up with better color than this, but alas, I can't take forever on these commissions! I've already done that!! And yes, the toes were originally tied in the sketch, but the commissioner requested that I remove them and adjust the positioning of the feet accordingly, bringing them tighter together but letting their feet sway freely. As free as they can be in this situation, anyway Thanks for commenting, Link!

I even told the commissioner that I couldn't make the character look too anime, because it just didn't suit my style. He had requested I draw her eyes larger, and her nose smaller, and I respectfully declined. He was very understanding, though. It worked out well in the end! Thanks a lot for commenting!

If you are to check out Negima, I would recommend checking out the Manga rather than the various anime series. As for Sasami, I think she does represent more of a mix of the various shows that she was in. I chose the Magical Girls Club influence because I feel it was a better fit for Negi as a companion rather than the alien princess version. All the same both characters are cute and thats why I wanted to put them in that situation. Glad you enjoyed it though!

I'd say you deserve some credit yourself, these two aren't as well-known these days as the more contemporary Megucas magic users in anime! But I appreciate that you would want to praise me at all, thank you!

I didn't know a thing about the newer magical girl series until I got the commission request! I was familiar with Pretty Sammy and that's about it, but Magical Girls Club was a new one! It's been a while since it came out, too!

To answer your question, while /m isn't exactly my thing, I can appreciate it and understand why a lot of people like it. In recent years I've been able to see some of these pieces and mentally put myself into the situation, and dang, it can be pretty fun! Putting a lady in the picture doesn't necessarily make it more "appealing", since in all honesty I'm simply fulfilling a request for the commissioner, who paid me real money to do this in the first place. But that doesn't necessarily mean I won't do purely /m content in the future, perhaps even voluntarily... It may not be as well-received by most, and it wouldn't be a regular thing, but if I get a fun or hot little idea, I just might do something with it! If it gets a little too steamy, I may not be able to share it on deviantART... But you know where to go if I do~
