Here it is, the first completed piece of 2015! Not only is this one I've been meaning to draw for a LONG time, it's my first personal fetish piece I've done outside of my now-finished commissions, and it was seen through to the end guilt-free! And here you are: Regina Venus and Kanasta d'Alegría, the two leading ladies of the band Rhapsody baring their soles and taking turns sharing a laugh!
Regina and Kanasta are both rather talented songstresses between themselves, and will frequently exchange roles as lead and backup singer during their stage shows. However, it looks like whoever has them in their grasp is intent on conducting their own personal concert, switching back and forth between the four captive soles in front of them, so that each girl has the chance to sing a different kind of song entirely: one of laughter! Must be VIP!! Kanasta seems to be taking a breather, letting her lovely size 9 1/2 soles rest after just finishing her turn... Looks like it's time again for Regina's size eights to pay up with another song! I don't think these are gonna be on the album, though!
What a relief it is to see this one done!! I started on this completely from scratch, shortly after the new year began, making this piece take just over two weeks to complete after working on it off and on again. I'm very happy to have found renewed drive to create something like this in so little time. Thank you all for supporting me all this time. I look forward to producing much more in the months to come!
EDIT: I also neglected to mention, but in case the girls look a little "different" to you this time, color wise, it's probably because I actually colored this piece between my new monitor and my girlfriend's television. Turns out my laptop monitor significantly desaturates most colors, and doesn't show me what everything SHOULD look like. So, to-date, this is the closest I've come to showing you guys their "official" color scheme. And with the new monitor, it effectively made this piece cost about $150 to produce. Yeeeup... Not cheap!

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactInto the New Year with a bang...of laughter it seems!
A tried and true pose with excellent forced perspective as the feet come into view. Wonderful realism makes the toes sit on top comfortable without being too small. The expressions play a lot into it describing the scene as easily as you did: one clearly enjoying herself or even trying to hold it in and the other resting comfortably. For now anyway.
Your color blending is very smooth; particularly a good mixture of tones on the skin and soles of the feet. The colors themselves that have been used paint a warm and comfortable atmosphere, giving the idea even this 'VIP' didn't want them to feel pained or stressed. Smaller details like the texture of the feather or the hairstyles haven't been missed either, showing a great attention to things most people would glance over. But shows great care of the art you're trying to create. Great job overall!
